First of all, we would like to reassure all users of OfficeNow, a business center in Cairate (VA): There is no coronavirus in the offices!
There is no health emergency in place: all the preventive and precautionary measures implemented by the Government and the Lombardy Region are useful precisely to prevent Lombardy hospitals from being clogged.
In compliance with the new decrees issued by the Italian Government, as a precautionary and preventive measure, OfficeNow business center has also taken action to prevent the spread of coronavirus in offices, operating as follows:
- doubling the cleaning of common areas using a disinfectant with alcohol or chlorine;
- always clean handrails and handles with disinfectant containing alcohol or chlorine;
- compliance with the 10 rules issued by the Lombardy Region and which you can find attached here:
- regulation of the entrances of visitors, suppliers, couriers, through registration with name, surname, date and time of entry, origin;
- entry ban on people coming from the red contagion area;
- hand sanitizer available to those who use the business center.
General measures to be taken
– Implementation of social distancing measures, such as the abolition of meetings that involve the presence of gatherings in a room or space.
– Wash your hands often with soap and water. Washing must be thorough for at least 60 seconds, following the ministerial instructions mentioned above. If soap and water are temporarily unavailable, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (alcohol concentration of at least 60%) can also be used.
– Use disposable paper towels.
– Avoid close contact with people showing symptoms of respiratory diseases (such as coughing and sneezing), while maintaining a distance of at least 1 meter.
– Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth with hands (if not freshly washed).
– Sneeze or cough into a tissue or with your elbow flexed and throw used tissues into a closed bin immediately after use and wash your hands frequently with soap and water or using alcoholic solutions.

– suspension of demonstrations or initiatives of any nature, events and any form of meeting in public or private places, even of a cultural, recreational, sporting and religious nature, even if held in closed places open to the public;
– closure of nurseries, early childhood education services and schools of all levels, as well as the attendance of school and higher education activities, professional courses, masters, courses for the health professions and universities for the elderly, with the exception of specialists and trainees in the health professions, except for training activities carried out remotely;
– suspension of services open to the public of museums, cinemas and other cultural institutions and places;
– suspension of all educational trips, both domestically and abroad;
– obligation on the part of individuals who have entered Lombardy from areas at epidemiological risk, as identified by the World Health Organization, to communicate this circumstance to the Prevention Department of the health company responsible for the territory, which will communicate it to the competent health authority for the adoption of the fiduciary home stay measure with active surveillance;
– suspension of insolvency procedures and the activities of public offices, without prejudice to the provision of essential and public utility services, the application refers only to insolvency procedures; special provisions will be identified with a subsequent specific regional provision for front office services and for the regulation of meetings / gatherings;
– application of the quarantine measure with active surveillance among individuals who have had close contact with confirmed cases of diffusive infectious disease, for healthcare personnel and essential services. Special provisions will be identified with a subsequent specific regional provision;
– closure of all commercial activities, with the exception of those of public utility and essential public services referred to in articles 1 and 2 of law 12 June 1990, 146, including commercial establishments for the purchase of basic necessities), in the following ways:
– bars, nightclubs and any other entertainment establishment open to the public are closed from 6pm to 6am; measures will be defined to avoid gatherings in these premises*;
– commercial establishments located within shopping centers and markets are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, with the exception of food outlets;
– for trade fairs, closure is ordered.
All these actions, which follow the Government's directives, are aimed at keeping the spread of the coronavirus as limited as possible.
